Dr. Phil Stacey started Saanichton Village Veterinary Hospital in 2013. He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1995. His joy is animals and his passion is medicine.

Dr. Angela Frost has been the co-owner of the practice since 2013. She supports us with training and the running of the hospital.

Dr. Meg Lainson has been practicing veterinary care on the peninsula since 2006 and assists in our general practice. In her off time she enjoys taiko drumming and spending time with her otterhound, Lynyrd, and new addition Sammy the poodle.

Dr. Angelina Koller grew up in Salmon Arm B.C. and graduated from the Western Collage of Veterinary Medicine in June 2024. In her spare time she enjoys reading, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her cat, Tilli and her pet rat!

Carolyn has been in the veterinary industry for almost 25 years working in mixed practice and emergency. She has become an indispensable member throughout the clinic. You can find her in reception, treatment, training or helping clients
In her spare time she loves hiking with her dogs, golfing and playing with horses.

Bryn is either behind the reception counter or busy in her office keeping the business side of things organized! If you need pet nutrition advice she's your gal! Some of her favorite time spent is gardening, crafting or spending time with her adorable cockapoo Finn and her two beautiful cats Rue and Beau.

Zoe joined the team as a receptionist in 2021. Since then she has moved into the position of Inventory/Logistics Manager where she handles inventory, myVETstore, service pricing, updates to the hospitals software, and support in reception. Maya is her beautiful kitty she spends her down time with.

Rachel graduated from the University of Guelph Ridgetown Campus in 2018. She has discovered a passion for emergency medicine and we are very excited for her to share her wealth of information. In her spare time Rachel enjoys mixed martial arts as her main hobby!

Laura was born and raised on Vancouver Island and joined our team in 2020. She has a tremendous work ethic, a great sense of humor and has been a fabulous addition to the practice. In her spare time she enjoys crocheting and fishing!

Hanna has returned home to Vancouver Island after a three year stint in Hawaii. While in Hawaii she adopted her best friend Fran! You can find these two enjoying our beautiful island trails and lakes on her days off. Hanna is an amazing receptionist, vet assistant and a wonderful addition to our team!

Katie has many responsibilities as a Veterinary Assistant. She supports the Drs, treatment room and reception. Katie keeps the flow of the clinic running smoothly. Her friendly nature keeps our clients and patients at ease. She started off with her One-eyed Ginger cat, Toby, and has now grown her fur family into a pack of four with Sadie, Kelso and Wally.

With five years of experience in the veterinary industry, Victoria currently assists in our treatment area with a strong focus on pet dental care. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, running and caring for her own pets, a border collie named Nova and two cats, Mimi and Jiggy.

Emily joined our team in June 2025 after transitioning from human nursing into the veterinary industry. She works as a veterinary assistant and brings a caring, calm approach to patient care. Outside of work, Emily enjoys surfing and spending time with her dog Willow.

Clara is the newest member to our team and the friendly face you'll be greeted by in reception. After working in human medicine Clara followed her passion for animals and joined the veterinary industry. Outside the hospital Clara enjoys rock climbing, crocheting and spending time with her border collie Nova at the beach.
